Over the last few years, the canbrerra Bangla Language and Cultural School has become an integral part of the Canberra community. Apart from teaching Bengala Language, the school orgainses different Bengaladeshi cultural events such as Ekushey February, Bangladesh Independence day, Pohela Boishak (Bangla New Year) etc. alone or in collaboration with the parent organisation, Bangladesh Australia Association Canberra Inc . The school also organises few other annual events such as Picnic (bonbhojon), study tours and participates in ACT Cultural Schools Association (CLSA) Day and MultiCultural Festival.
